Moving heavy objects w/o tools

Spotted this over in the DIY tribe, but thought it was cool and appropriate here too. The clip shows a fellow moving some incredibly heavy objects without the aid of any modern tools. He's building his own Stonehenge...

Now that is pretty cool. If it was a *small* group of people who built stonehenge, I wonder if it would change some of the theories on who built it and why...

Not necessarily. Some of the theories are that it was built for astronomical/astrological/date-keeping purposes or possibly for religious purposes. If it was built by a small group, that's one dedicated group of druids. Sheesh.

His methods are very interesting and could be a good basis for _how_ such structures are made, but the purpose (whatever that may be) is the purpose regardless of how many people it took.

I liked this a lot. I've moved some heavy things by myself form time to time. I put a 25' sailboat on the roof of my garage once to get it out of the way. I had to build a ramp to get it down. This guy is a lot better than me. I will remember the two stone trick.
    Great post
