I love going to lectures at the Museum of Natural History here in NYC. I went to one last week that turned out to be totally boring except for one part:

It's always neat to see a little farther, particularly now that physics and astronomy seem so bound together and so likely to tell us something interesting in the future. And knowing how far back in time you're looking - I agree, mind blowing.

Mon, May 21, 2007 - 9:09 PMThe HDF and HUDF are two of the most compelling astronomical pictures I've seen. I can go on for hours about them, but anybody who looks at them and still insists we are the only sentient life in the universe should be shot.
